This would have been a very nice little rack if the welds hadn't been broken making it almost useless. It's sturdy and otherwise nicely made, but one of the side racks, where you'd put soap or razors, was completely broken off. That was really disappointing, because it's really hard to find these caddies anymore. No one seems to carry them. And it's just not worth the hassle trying to return it. I've got the broken side attached with twist ties. Not very pretty, but at least somewhat functional.

i think they may have mixed up the skew #'s on the products and are shipping the wrong products. thank goodness i did not pay for shipping - it's a hassle to return & now i need to go find what i was originally looking for. they are not offering me an exchage for the correct product either....strange since i thought the goal of retail was to try and make the sale.
first problem i've ever had with amazon in (10+?) years. kinda bummed out.

This caddy is nice for the price. Use it with my new clawfoot tub and it is nice to have the ability to adjust the width. Has a candle holder, wine glass holder, mirror and a book rack. Can't use the book rack and the mirror at the same time.

This doorbell has a lot of great features:
* It works over a long distance
* Choice of 6 tones
* Can add on additional doors with different tones
* It can be hung vertical or horizontal

The things I don't like about it:
* This unit is bigger than I thought it would be at 5.75"x8" - can't they come up with something smaller and less noticeable? I couldn't find the dimensions here or on Honeywell's site beforehand so I hope this is helpful to you. Sorry Amazon but "medium" just doesn't tell much!
* My biggest peeve about this product is that the chime cover does not rest flush to the wall. The white cover you see pictured does not look good from the sides (which is how it will most likely be seen). The base underneath is a gray/black color and it sticks out 1" from the wall to the cover, then the cover sticks out another inch or so.
They should have made the base white to match the cover since it has to be exposed - OR made a cover that goes flush to the wall! I am hoping after awhile I just ignore it, but it is bothering me - I might try and paint it if it still bugs me after awhile.

Please comment if you have another solution - suggestions are welcome to make this look better from the side.

I purchased this product after having an electrician come to my house and charge me $65 per hour to try to fix my existing doorbell. After finding out he needed to run new wires and it would take him up to 5 hours I decided to go wireless. I looked at Lowes and Home Depot; but, I was very unhappy with the appearance of their stock so I looked on Amazon. This doorbell is easy to install and looks good. The only two things I would change: One would be to make the sound more clear (its just ok). The other would be for them to provide a more esthetic looking door button. I had to order another one that had stainless steal finish and it set me back another $30 bucks. The plastic one it comes with looks cheap.

Oh wow, we would be totally lost in the kitchen without our Le Creusette French oven. It is so very well made, and almost magical in the sense that everything we've ever cooked in it came out so good. It's not non-stick, but it doesn't have to be. Non stick surfaces aren't the right choice for many recipes anyway, as they don't really allow meat to sear properly (the Maillard reaction, I think it's called). This pot is perfect for that, and while some food will stick to the bottom, it is always easy to clean with a scotchbright pad. For really stubborn, burned food that got stuck to the bottom and won't come off, simply put some water in the pot and put it back on the stove. Let it boil for a few minutes and then empty the water out and then the stuck-on food should come right off.

We've cooked so many delicious meals in this pot. Even just tonight, I took some baby potatoes and threw them in the pot with some olive oil and butter. Put the lid on and stirred them every few minutes until they began to get soft, then threw in some salt, pepper, chopped garlic and rosemary in the last few minutes of cooking. Yum! So easy, and the 'taters got perfectly browned and flavorful without getting burned or mushy.

The only caveat I would offer is that the Le Creuset cookware is very heavy. It may not be a consideration for most people, but if you are thinking of giving this as a gift for your 90 year old frail grandmother, you may want to think again. That said though, Le Creuset cookware is the best, and every household should have at least one decent sized French oven like this.


Le Creuset L2501-2817 Review by Greg Abrams (Largo, FL USA)

There really is something special about Le Creuset. Prior to finally splurging and buying one for myself, I had cooked with a few of their cast iron series pieces on several occasions and always loved them. I chose this larger 7-1/4 quart because I prefer to cook once and eat for a few days after on the leftovers.

My first dish in the new (cassis finish) round oven was an Indian butter masala, to which I added grilled tandoori-style chicken. Excellent results! Smooth, even cooking, great heat retention, and easy clean up afterward. I was a little concerned that the turmeric in the masala might discolor the enamel finish on the inside, but it came away spotless with a quick scrub from the nylon brush. You need to let it sit a while after cooking and then fill it with some water and a little soap for a few, but so far it has cleaned up every time with minimal effort. I've even burned on some buttermilk fried chicken batter over several batches and it all came off with just a little elbow grease. Also ran it through the paces on a couple of braises (pork and beef), along with two slow oven-cooked beef stews and all came out very nicely.

That said, I've only owned it for a little over a month now, so it's impossible for me to render an opinion on product durability. But I do know folks who have been using Le Creuset pots and pans for 10+ years and still swear by them. Unless they've drastically changed their manufacturing process and quality control, I dare say that the newer batches will prove just as rugged over time as the older ones. A little care goes a long way and while you don't really need to baby a cast iron pan (even one with an enamel finish), it doesn't hurt to read and follow the "care and use" instructions included in the package. In any case, I'll come along somewhere down the road maybe a year or so from now and report how things are going.

Overall, this is a great piece of cookware in my opinion. Yes, it is very expensive and I hesitated on the mouse button for a while before committing to the purchase. But it certainly meets all of my needs as a home cook and does so to a higher degree than any other brand I've used in the past.

Like most people reading these reviews, I did my research and wondered whether I would regret spending so much money on a single item of cookware. Well, let me assure you, it's money well spent. I just cooked my first-ever perfect pot roast (I have been pot-roast challenged for years), and though I had a great new recipe this pot gets most of the credit for turning out a deliciously tender, juicy roast. I was also amazed at how beautifully it cleaned up. After going from stovetop to oven and back to the stovetop, I thought surely I would have to soak the pan but nothing stuck at all. All it needed was a quick hand washing and it looked just like new. Now I want a whole kitchen full of Le Creuset!

The zen garden looks great! the rock that has the word 'zen' on it is much smaller than the one I received (it doesn't fit in the sand, but I put it in the rocky area and it looks fine). The candle holder fits a tea-lite candle and the darker rock is flat bottomed to sit evenly on the sand. My only complaint is that the word 'zen' on my rock looks like it was painted on and someone messed up a little because it is slightly smuged.

I was so impressed by this little zen garden - I picked one up as a gift for my boss over my internship, and it looks identical to the picture. I love the space for a tea candle in the corner, and they provide just the perfect amount of sand and rocks. The rake is made out of a very light wood, not plastic, which adds to the all-natural effect. The rocks/sand are all various-colored neutrals, so this won't clash with any room decor you have. I was actually surprised by how heavy the box felt when I got it in the mail; this is a quite durable product.

For the price, this did not feel cheap at all. Unfortunately I don't have a desk in my room, but if I did, you bet I would buy one for myself.
